Barn Living with Keuka Lake Views
March 31st, 2012 categories: Keuka Lake, Real Estate News
When I first heard that someone lived in this barn, I did not believe what I was hearing or seeing. Actually when I first saw the barn, the barn doors were open and all you could see were gardening tools and then a very rustic looking door. Even then I could not imagine that there could be living quarters behind that door. It was such an amazing space. The shape of the barn successfully disguises the living area, which encompasses mostly the back-end of the barn. The barn has an el on one side and an addition on the other, which creates a nice enclosure. If you are sitting out on the deck just off of the kitchen, you don’t have the slightest feeling of being in a barn. From the deck you also gt a nice view of Keuka Lake as well as a garden area and vineyards. The owners just love their converted barn and are quite happy living inconspicuously.
