Spring Has Sprung In The Finger Lakes !
April 24th, 2012 categories: Canandaigua Lake, Keuka Lake, Seneca Lake
Yes we were temporarily distracted by taxes, and Old Man Winter decided to remind us of why we love Spring so much, but he is on his way back out !
Everyone seems to have that Spring Fever in their bones. And that is a good thing !
- Buyers are happy – it is still a buyers market and interest rates are still low.
- Bankers are happy – mortgage lenders are loosening the reins and handing out more mortgages.
- Appraisers are happy – they have more work to do to support mortgage approvals.
- Surveyors are happy – between all of the refinancing and new mortgages – they are dancing in circles
- Builders are happy – new builds are up and you can see those carpenters swinging their hammers everywhere.
It looks like the general consensus is that things are looking up, so add a little color to your world with a lakefront property !
Last but not least REALTORS® are HAPPY. You are keeping the spring in our step by keeping us busy. I would also like to thank you for your referrals. We continue to strive to be the very best at what we do and in turn all we ask is that you send us more referrals. That is the best way of telling us Thank You !

Container homes have become trendy among artist, architects, folks deciding to go green by recycling old containers, and for quick emergency housing in disaster areas. Designers utilize the space in very efficient ways incorporating green products such as bamboo flooring, counters from recycled products and even stacking the components to provide relief or exposure to the sun.

There are many different makers of these container homes, with more and more entering the market. Some home manufactures and designers, are producing homes that look like containers and are made of recycled components.
One of these homes can be found on Seneca Lake. The owners purchased the land and then set up a home, made of these Wee components. The home now completed, is set up as a vacation rental.
