The early winter allows you to think ahead for spring. What colors will I use, how and when will we entertain? Will you need more outdoor seating? How about the yard, what and where will you plant for easy gardening? If the property will be put into a rental program and if so, this is the time to meet with them and finalize last minute details.

Seneca Lake the deepest of the Finger Lakes exudes beauty that is showcased along its varied shores in different forms. Located in the Starkey Point area, you will find a year round home that takes advantage of the beauty this lake has to offer.
Each floor of this 2183 square feet year round vacation home offers a separate comfortable and cozy bedroom suite that you can retreat to. The lower level even offers a walk out to a private patio. The main floor consists mostly of tile floors that allow for easy maintenance and flow. Since it is a year round vacation home, everyone likes to enjoy the views. The enclosed porch brings the freshness of the outdoors but keeps you out of the elements and the expansive deck invites outdoor dining and relaxation. The updated neutral and light filled kitchen is perfect for preparing the perfect meal and indoor dining is conveniently located just off the kitchen. Access to the deck and enclosed porch is easy from the dining or living area. This home is just perfect for entertaining whether it is indoors or out.
But the icing on the cake is the new deck, stairs and dock the owner had designed and built. The side panels on the deck do not obstruct the unbelievable views yet still offer safety for young ones and pets. The deck was also built with entertaining in mind. It becomes the perfect place for family and friends to gather after a long, fun day in the sun. There is room for dining tables, loungers and chairs. The sides of the property are lined with mature trees to allow for privacy and the 152 feet of shoreline allows room for the spacious deck with two covered boat hoists and an area to walk into the water and a place to launch your kayak or canoe. Visiting friends will even find plenty of room to dock their boats
Because of it’s size and depth, Seneca Lake is perfect for sailing or as some prefer to say “yachting”. Of course motor boats and ski boats are welcome as well. Just take in the beauty and calming affect of the water from boat or shore. It really is all about the water.
On the rear side of the one acre property you will find a 2 car garage with plenty of room for a workshop area and a sizeable loft upstairs. The driveway is placed in a circular pattern to allow easy access and plenty of parking. The side and front yards offer plenty of room for lawn games or even gardening.
If you are looking for things to do other than boating and viewing the water once you purchase your home, you have so many options. This property is after all in the heart of the Finger Lakes Wine area and located just off of the Seneca Lake Wine Trail. It is only minutes from Watkins Glen where you will find a variety of restaurants. shopping and the Watkins Glen State Park. A little south from here is Corning NY with museums and Market Street known for its shopping and restaurants. Heading North on the lake will bring you to Geneva another great place for restaurants and dining. And believe it or not, many buyers ask to be in close proximity to the uber cool grocery store, Wegmans.
